We recently sent a letter to all tenants outlining upcoming changes to housing legislation. Unfortunately, the letter incorrectly stated that from 1^st August 2026 tenants would have the right to request written permission to keep a pet.

This provision will not come into effect on 1^st August 2026 but at a later date still to be confirmed by the Scottish Government.

We apologise for any confusion this may have caused and will provide a further update when the implementation date is announced.
