Sometimes tenants fall into arrears because they are not receiving all the benefits they are entitled to. Our Welfare Rights Officers can help. Our service is available to tenants and owner-occupiers and we aim to provide information and support to all our residents on a full range of benefit and welfare issues. We can help with benefit applications, help protect those who are already on benefits; appeal benefit decisions and find representation.
The team is able to check that you receive all the benefits you are entitled to and complete better off calculations for example; the affect on benefits if you start work or you change your hours or circumstances.
You can contact our Welfare Rights Officers to make an appointment by calling: 0141 331 6650
Our Welfare Rights Officers also hold surgeries at the following places/times. There is no need to make an appointment.
