If you take pride in your local area and it’s reflected in your shared communal space then we think you deserve recognition!
Neighbours working together to keep a clean close and a green garden is not without its challenges.
The Good Garden & Best Close Competition is a Glasgow West Housing Association tradition in awarding those who strive for a better shared living conditions for themselves and their neighbours.
Has the condition of a tenement close, a terrace floor or a multi-storey level left you impressed? Has a back court, shared garden or main door external space caught your eye?
We need your nominations! If you are particularly proud of the efforts made by your building or know of a friend or neighbours’ shared space that deserves recognition then do not hesitate to get in touch for involvement in this year’s competition.
Once a shortlist is drawn up, a panel of GWHA Committee Members and Estate management staff take to your neighbourhood to judge which address has made the most effort in creating a harmonious habitat for all residents. With awards and prizes to be won, it’s worth highlighting who you think has the best close or a good garden within your housing association.
To nominate fill out this form with your selected address and why you feel they should be recognised for their efforts. Please return nominations to estates@glasgowwestha.co.uk or to the main office at 5 Royal Crescent, G3 7SL.
We look forward to hearing from you.
