For Scottish Housing Day 2021 the theme is Climate Emergency and we are highlighting how we are helping reduce the carbon footprint.
Dover Street Development
Our ongoing development at Dover Street has a focus on energy efficiency. The building’s insulation and heating and hot water systems are designed to achieve a 21% reduction in emissions compared to 2015 standards. This is achieved through specifying high efficiency condensing gas boilers, which will power the communal services, including the lifts.
Some of the other efficiencies are:
Perhaps most significantly, the project is approved by planning as being ‘car-free’. There is no parking on site. An active travel pack will be provided to encourage residents to use public transport and active travel options, with many public transport and cycle route options available in the area. Secure bicycle storage is provided for each flat and visitors.
Keep an eye on the website and our social media for further updates on this project!
Energy efficiency is of great importance and several of our team members have been trained to provide energy advice to help lower your energy costs.

Total Homes Partnership
Since April 2021, we have been working partnership with Total Homes to improve bulk collection services across our developments.
Total Homes Co-operative is a household goods collection service with a difference; collecting, recycling, upcycling and reusing furniture and household goods. Over this time we have adopted their principles of Recover, Reduce, Repair, Reuse, and Recycle and continue to promote this.
If you are need to dispose of old items, arrange an uplift through Total Homes on 0141 556 7085 or email@example.com
