16 days of action against gender based violence

Police Scotland has collaborated with Glasgow Caledonian University to share messages from the “Erase the Grey” campaign (#erasethegrey). This will be broadcast across Police Scotland digital media channels from 25 November 2019. A series of simple messages which challenge myths will help raise awareness and direct people to appropriate services. This will inform discussion and banish any doubt about the forms of abuse which take place and the excuses abusers use to try and excuse their actions.

GWHA has signed up to the Chartered Institute of Housing “Make a Stand” campaign against domestic abuse (www.cih.org/makeastand). Our Management Committee has recently approved our Domestic Abuse policy and the message is clear – domestic abuse is a serious crime which adversely impacts on the lives of individuals and families and we aim to empower and support those experiencing domestic abuse.
