Handyperson Service – Free Help with Small DIY Jobs

Did you know that GWHA offers a free Handyperson Service for eligible tenants? The service is designed to help older tenants and those with long-term physical health conditions or disabilities carry out small DIY tasks around the home.

The service can help with jobs such as:

  • Putting up shelves or curtain poles
  • Building flat-pack furniture
  • Replacing door handles

All you need to do is provide the materials, and GWHA will arrange for our repairs contractor to carry out the work at no cost to you.

Who can use the service?

You may be eligible if:

  • Everyone in your household is aged 60 or over; or
  • Every adult in your household has a long-term disability or physical health condition that has been evidenced to and recorded by GWHA. If you're unsure whether you qualify, or would like to find out more, please contact us on 0141 331 6650 or email admin@glasgowwestha.co.uk.

Don't struggle with small DIY jobs around the home – get in touch and see how the Handyperson Service could help you.
