GWHA are driven to encourage initiatives within the local community and with major repair works we are looking to include Community Benefits as part of the works.
All future GWHA contract works will include for a Community Benefit clause to provide a sustainable approach to procurement and enhancing opportunities within the local area.
The benefits can range from creating new work placements and apprenticeships to environmental projects for use of the local community. A recent Community Benefit from our Contractor, Consult Lift Services, carrying out works to St Vincent Terrace included a food hamper and Christmas present donation to a local Foodbank.
