We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Tenancy Services Team, which includes tenancy management and tenancy sustainment services.  The vacancy has arisen following the appointment of our existing TSM to the Services Director role; and there is potential for the TSM post to be made permanent at the end of the fixed term.  

The successful candidate will be performance driven, and will demonstrate role flexibility, proficient IT skills, excellent communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Commitment to enhanced customer service through the provision of quality advice, information and support to residents and the community
  • High level of technical/specialist knowledge.   
  • Driving excellence across internal/external services, initiatives and performance.  
  • Leading the development of comprehensive and accurate records, reporting and administrative systems that demonstrate compliance with legislative and regulatory standards and reflect best practice.
  • Responsible through the Services Director to the Chief Executive and ultimately the Management Committee for policy outcomes and performance, within a framework of continuous improvement and execution of strategies and initiatives for enhanced customer service, optimum performance, robust governance while supporting learning & growth.

Key Tasks:

  • Operational leadership and direction of services, activities and performance across multi-tenure housing (and other) stock including housing advice, void management, rent setting and collection, tenancy management and sustainment. 
  • Leading tenancy/lease negotiations for new and remodelled housing management services.
  • Key role in the development and delivery of effective Community and Tenancy Sustainment Strategies, and in identifying wider engagement opportunities.
  • Driving a culture of enhanced customer services, optimum performance and best practice.
  • Developing strategy/policy/procedures/KPIs and databases, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with legislative, governance, regulatory and best practice.
