There are a number of ways to report a repair to Glasgow West.

If you require an emergency repair out with office hours, please refer to our Emergency Contact Numbers


When reporting a repair please ensure you have the following information available:

  • Your name and address 
  • Your telephone number (if you have one)
  • The required repair, and if it is communal or internal to your property 
  • How and when the contractor will get access to your home. 


How long will my repair take be be fixed?

Your repair is categorised into one of the following:

  • Routine (to be completed within 10 working days)
  • Urgent (to be completed within 3 working days)
  • Emergency (to be completed within 6 hours)

When a repair is reported, we will decide if the repairs requires a Property Services Officer to visit in the first instance to investigate the issue or if the repair can be issued directly to a contractor.

At the time of the telephone call, we will confirm anticipated repair timescales, the proposed contractor attending and whether or not this is a Statutory Right to Repair. Further information on the Statutory Right to Repair scheme can be found here.
