Formerly known as Hillhead HA and with a history dating back to 1978, Glasgow West Housing Association Ltd (GWHA) has over 30 years local experience; including 7 successful stock transfers. GWHA owns over 1500 houses and over 100 commercial units, and provides factoring services to over 500 residential and commercial owners who live or work alongside Glasgow West tenants in mixed-tenure developments.

           

Services are provided from the main offices at 5 Royal Crescent, as well as 3 community concierge stations at 56 Blythswood Court, 31 St Vincent Terrace, 72 Crown Road North and a sheltered housing office at 25 Keith Court.  The main office building was upgraded in 2005 to barrier free standards and, at the same time, a previously derelict two-storey extension was fully refurbished to provide additional office accommodation and a community meeting space.

 

With around 2000 tenants, residential and commercial owners now receiving services, GWHA is a significant community controlled, charitable housing services provider in the West End of Glasgow.
