Bin collectors and street cleaners at Glasgow City Council are on strike  from 1st - 8th November 2021.  All household waste and recycling collection services will be affected and it is expected that street bins will not be serviced at this time.

Contrary to the FAQs on the Glasgow City Council website, Household Waste Recycling Centres are currently closed. We are told they will not be closed for the entirety of the strike action and will update when open again.

Total Homes will attempt to collect bulk waste items but are struggling to access properties due to COP26. We will have an update on how they aim to manage this service later today.

Our environmental and close cleaning contractors are on site and informing us of any H&S hazards within backcourts/ communal areas.
