Waking up to find your bins overflowing when they should have been collected can be a headache! There are many reasons this may have happened; refuse collectors unable to access the site, adverse weather conditions or other city wide service administration problems.

Help us by letting Land and Environmental Services (LES) know that you think your address may have been overlooked.

If you think your scheduled bin collection has been missed then you must report it to Glasgow City Council either by phoning them on 0141 287 9700 or reporting it on the MyGlasgow App. Make sure to obtain a reference number upon reporting a missed collection.

Please allow LES until 6pm on the day of uplift before reporting it as a missed collection.

General household waste collection is currently running on a weekly uplift schedule whereas recycling is collected on a fortnightly basis.

If you are unsure when household waste in collected from your property please contact the estate management team on 0141 428 3245 or email khillhouse@glasgowwestha.co.uk

For general information on city wide waste disposal please refer to Glasgow City Councilís website for further information.
